Visitor Centre
The Visitor Centre is staffed by volunteer members of the Friends group.
Opening Times - Fri 1pm - 4.00pm
Mon, Tues 10 - 4.00
Thurs 10 -4.00
Sat, Sun 12 - 5.00
(Times may vary depending on staff availability)
Toilets open 9 - 5 daily
The Centre is also a base for many small community groups who use the two public rooms free of charge for such diverse activities as Health Walks, Crocheting, Gardening, Wildlife and a Toddlers group.
In the Visitor Centre hot and cold drinks, crisps and chocolate biscuits are available as well as the very popular bird seed. Profits are used to fund events and items for the benefit of park users.
Several publications are available at the Visitor Centre to allow visitors to make the most of the Vale. Some can be read and downloaded here.
