Reddish Vale Country Park lies in the Tame Valley north of Stockport town centre. It is a place of recreation for the large local populations of Brinnington and Reddish offering a place of tranquility and interest that is easily accessible.
Friends of the Vale is a voluntary group that operates the visitor centre and works on maintenance and development within the park.
Friends also work with other groups including the RSPB, Butterfly Conservation, The Stroke Association and many others.
